Broken Toe/Dislocated Finger and Scarlet Fever

Hi everyone -well on my last post I told you I had broken my toe, then two two days later I dislocated my finger!!!and I have been helping look after my two little grandaughter while Mum and Dad is at work as they bth have scarlet fever. It never rains but it pours!!!On a good note their Dad(my son Matthew) who has his own tattoo studio now has so much work on he has been offered larger premises, and after a guest spot at a tattoo studio in Sheffield in February they have asked him back in April and he has also been offered a booth in June at a tattoo convention,he has had tattoos in a couple of magazines and been interviewed by a magazine in Australia-so things looking up for them fingers crossed. My card today is just a simple CAS as mojo is a bit slow at moment.
Just a reminder about the new challenge blog-Crafting at the Weekend which goes live on the 26th April. My image is from Handmade Harbourcoloured with promarkers and the B.paper is Daydream from Heidi grace.

Oh, Carol, I'm so sorry you're having so many bad things happen, maybe that's better though so after it you have nothing but rainbows and sunshine for the rest of the year hehe. I love your card, very masculine, love that image too. Is that woodgrain patterned paper or is it created by an embossing folder or something? I love it. XOX Lucy

Oh Carol, they say things happen in threes but wow, have your three all come together and in such painful and inconvenient ways. I'm so sorry that, not content with the pain of a broken toe you now have a dislodislocated finger to add to your current challenges of caring for two poorly granddaughters I wish you all speedy recoveries and brighter days ahead.

Congratulations to Matthew .... I'm not into tattoos for myself but I do appreciate the art of a very good tattooist. It sounds as though Matthew has inherited his Mum's wonderful artistic and creative talents and I wish him every success as his business and reputation grow.

Oh isn't it nice to be able to get out to the potting shed to start growing new plants and vegetables again (well, perhaps when your toe heals). I'm surprised that you say you are struggling with your mojo at this time for you have created such a lovely man card Carol. I know two men to whom I would be proud to give this card in the knowledge that both would be delighted and most appreciative to receive it.

Love Ingrid xxx ♥ ♥ ♥
